About me
I’m an Assistant Professor of Instruction in Teacher Education at Ohio University Zanesville and a Human-First AI Faculty Fellow. My doctorate is in Curriculum and Instruction: Literacy, Language and Culture from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
I’ve presented on AI to deans of colleges of education from across the country at the AACTE Leadership Conference, to faculty across disciplines, to PK–12 teachers, and to community audiences at all five Ohio University regional campuses, plus a wealth management group and a women in marketing event.
Practical details
Format. In person or virtual. I schedule travel around my university teaching calendar, so earlier notice gives us more options.
Rates. Sessions start at $250 and go up from there. A full-day PD is $1,000. Rates vary by format, length, travel, and organization type, and travel time is billed separately. School, library, and nonprofit rates are different from corporate ones. Ask and I’ll tell you straight.
Who I work with. Honestly, anyone curious. Preschool through twelfth grade, faculty in any discipline, deans, community groups, and skeptics, who often make for the best sessions.
